2016 Honda CBR600RR

Chassis of the 2016 Honda CBR600RR is made of aluminum and it uses twin spar design. Honda electronic steering damper is also installed for better handling and specs are boosted with programmed dual stage fuel injection. There are many other systems that improve both visual appearance and performance of the 2016 CBR600RR. It is smaller and less powerful from its 1000RR sibling. But price is also more affordable and joy of ride is similar.

Liquid-cooled engine with 599 provides power to 2016 Honda CBR600RR. This DOHC inline-four unit is bigger than competitor bikes. Also because of its 40mm throttle bodies, which makes engine breathe easier. Bore and stroke are set at 67 x 43 mm. Fuel injection betters the start at cold weathers. There is also supersport edition of the 2016 CBR600RR, which is slightly powerful and on the other hand less efficient. Bike has two ride modes – race and sport, depending of which setup better suits riders style. There are also HESD system for better handling, HMAS system with improved suspension, and special combined anti-lock braking system (C-ABS).

Although its body is made of aluminum overall weight of the bike is 428 pounds which is lighter than its competitors. This is important because of the handling and fuel economy. New 2016 Honda CBR600RR has pre-loaded 41 mm upside-down fork as standard front suspension. So dual 310 mm 4-piston discs are on front brakes and 280 mm discs are back. Two 17-inch wheels gets 120/70 front and 180/55 back ZR tires. Wheelbase length is 54 inches and seat height 32.3 inches.

Price of the 2016 Honda CBR600RR is $11,500, which is less than its main competitor supersport bike and its bigger sibling. Honda offers limited one year factory warranty, with no mileage limit.
